I Cannot Wait to Grow Up!
Bishop John Doerfler of the Diocese of Marquette is writing a monthly column for The U.P. Catholic. He’s working with the theme of “Mystery Tour” of our faith. We’re shooting video versions of these columns and posting them to The U.P. Catholic’s YouTube channel.
Shooting and editing these videos is an enjoyable change of pace and a fun challenge. We’re shooting them in the bishop’s office using a simple two-light set up with the addition of a little light through the windows. I then edit them using Adobe’s Premiere Pro video editing software on my laptop computer. If the sound needs some tweaking, that’s done in Audition. For me it’s a nice combination of learning about our faith, and building video skills at the same time.
